Welcome to Beyond Fit. I want to thank you for taking the first step toward becoming a fit, lean, and strong Berks County resident. You’ve taken the biggest step by contacting our results based small group training facility here in Douglassville, PA, and making the decision to change your life. This puts you in the 1% of all the population, and for that, thank you. Selecting our facility and our team of coaches to guide you on your path of results and success doesn’t go unnoticed, and it isn’t taken lightly. We’re conveniently located on Park Lane, right off of 422 W in-between CVS and Speedway. Our address is: 102 Park Lane, Douglassville, PA 19518.
There will be plenty of parking in front of the building, so feel free to park as close as you’d like to the door

We’re going to spend 30-45 minutes with you going over how we can help you & to make sure our program is a good fit for you. We’ll be doing some deep diving into your underlying motivation, so we can really hold you accountable to your goals.

We’ll be waiting to greet you with a Beyond Fit bag as a small way to thank you for coming in. You will probably hear and see one of our results based small group training sessions being conducted (depending on the time you come in).
It’s very likely that we’ll introduce you to another one of the coaches. After all, we want to provide you with a full team of coaches to help you reach your goals! |
Step Three: Our 1-on-1 Session
The goal of this session is to make sure Beyond Fit is the right place for you. Here’s what will happen during this 30 minute session:
Step 1: The first thing we do is discuss your goals, your past workout history, past nutrition, success, and obstacles you might be worried about. Once we learn about your past, we'll look for habits we can help you establish to ensure your success. We strongly believe the body follows the mind - in order to lose the weight and keep it off, we have to develop the mindset to support the goal.
Step 2: After we set your goals and come up with the right habits to support your goal, we’ll come up with some simple nutrition strategies to help you get there. No fancy diet plans or magical supplements. Just simple nutrition tweaks that are going to help you get the results you want.
Step 3: Once we complete the first two steps, we’ll come up with your game plan for your specific goals including how many days per week you should workout and which sessions you should do. Based on that, we’ll recommend a membership for to choose (note: there’s no risk of any kind when you sign-up. If you decide that we’re not the right fit for you within your 30 days, we’ll stop your membership from continuing for the following month.) Before you leave, we’ll make sure we answer all your question and leave no stone unturned. We want you leaving this session confident and armed with the right strategies to jumpstart your fitness.

Honestly, we’d be surprised if you didn’t have questions. That’s why our orientations are one on one with one of our coaches/staff. Still, for your convenience and to ensure you trust us during your journey to fitness and health, we’ve put together some frequently asked questions:
Q: “What type of training do we do at Beyond Fit?”
A: At Beyond Fit, we know you’re busy & don’t have a lot of time to workout and that’s why we do small group strength workouts. These 45-minute sessions are the most effective way to build lean muscle, while burning fat. So whether you want to lose weight or just tone up, this is the most effective training method. These sessions are just like personal training workouts: we’ll be with you every step of the way and tell you exactly what to do. We’ll make sure you’re doing everything with the proper technique so you don’t get hurt. You’ll be doing these in small groups of 8 or less adults per coach.
We also off Fat Burn Sessions. These are the best cardio workouts you can do. Unlike traditional cardio which is slow, steady and boring, these workouts are fast pace, high energy & intensity and are designed to burn the most amount of calories in the shortest time possible. These workouts have up to 15 adults in them.
A: Will I be doing what everyone else is doing?
From Day 1, you’ll be doing a program that is perfectly suitable for you. The first session is a 1-on-1 workout so we can see where you are at physically. This will ensure that when you start our group sessions that you’ll be doing exercises geared towards your current level of fitness. You’ll feel like you’re getting a personal training session in a group atmosphere.
Our goal is to take the burden of going to the gym off your shoulders and put it onto ours. All you need to do is show-up. We’re going to show you exactly what to do, how to do it & coach you through it to make sure you are always using the appropriate amount of weight so you can get the best results possible, while staying injury free.
Q: Are you like Crossfit?
One of the most common questions we get from adults is “are your workouts similar to Crossfit”?
In a nutshell, no we are not like Crossfit. We have our own proven training system that we use to get our adults results.
Crossfit is a generic workout and not personalized to meet your specific needs. Crossfit workouts consist of very complicated lifts that take years to master and are very high intensity. There is no logical progression or regression to the workouts. Crossfit often consists of random workout of the days that do a good job at getting you tired but do not address your individual goals. In our eyes this type of approach is a recipe for injury and it’s not how we do things at Beyond Fit.
At Beyond Fit we have a structured and guided yearly plan that is catered to your specific needs. We are with you every step of the way & you will never be alone.
Q: Are you like The MAX, Orange Theory or facilities like that?
A: Those facilities are more like fast food restaurants. We’re more of a high end upscale restaurant. We build relationships with each of our members. You aren’t just coming to us for workouts, you’re coming to us because you want the best coaching in town and you want the support and accountability needed to get the results you want.
Q: What should I expect on my first day?
A: Your first day with us will be a 30 minute 1-on-1 session. For the first part of the session, we will take you through various components of our program including: our warm-up & basic strength exercises. We’ll then finish off by showing you recovery techniques that we use to help you feel & move better. The next portion of the session will be our introduction to nutrition coaching. We’ll sit down with you & go over exactly how the nutrition coaching works & even give you some tips to get started!

We conveniently offer sessions 6 days a week, and you don’t have to commit to any specific days or times, so scheduling is flexible and easy.
