Fit and beyond... Our vision at Beyond Fit is to provide MORE, to provide classes beyond expectation. There are millions of gyms and classes you can attend, that all provide the same "cut and paste" workouts. The difference at Beyond Fit is we take the time to create periodized workout designs. What the heck is that!? Periodization is the process of varying a training program at regular time intervals to bring about optimal gains in physical performance (see footnote 1). Some proven benefits of periodization are improved muscular endurance, strength, power, motor performance, and/or muscle hypertrophy. The goal of periodizing an exercise program is to optimize training during short (e.g., weeks, months) as well as long periods of time (e.g., years, a life time, or an athletic career). Using periodization, a competitive athlete is able to peak physical performance at a particular point in time, such as for a major competition. The same concept works if your goal is overall health and fitness. Periodization will help maximize results in a minimal amount of time! (http://training.strengthengine.com/periodization.shtml) All classes are planned to take your results to the next level, in the least amount of time possible. You'll feel leaner, stronger, more conditioned and have a boost of self-confidence. Beyond Fit = fit is the act of being able to perform any exercise without the incidence of injury. The body should be agile, conditioned, strong and possess a great amount of endurance. Class will be designed to help the body do just that, your physical results will excel as a result. Beyond Body Sculpt = to sculpt the body is to get lean and toned. Beyond Body Sculpt will get you lean, toned and super strong quickly. You will no longer have to ask someone to open a jar for you or have to walk past those skinny jeans! Beyond Butts and Guts = the core is fundamental to pain-free movement. Butts and guts class places a huge emphasis on restoring strength in the core, so you can crush other classes. (1) Bompa, T.O. Periodization of strength: the new wave in strength training.
