A study in England found that taking regular “days off” (preferably at least two in a row) from drinking helped improve sleep.
It also reduced the risk of high blood pressure, heart disease, some cancers and liver disease.
Cutting back on alcohol will also boost your energy levels, make it easier to lose weight…. and you might even notice that your skin suddenly looks better (clearer, less acne, and and wrinkle-prone!).
Going without alcohol can be a great time to pay attention, and notice how we feel without it, and what role it actually plays in our daily lives.
I know it can be nice to order a beer or a glass of wine when you’re out to eat…. but just for this week, let’s give it a go without it.
Are you up for joining me in this alcohol-free challenge? What do you think? Let me know below!
