Add a high intensity "burnout" to the end of your workout. The "burnout" will increase your heart rate - metabolism - daily calorie burn - and overall endurance. All of these benefits helps burn WAY more fat, make you look younger, make work outs seem easier and keep your energy levels extra high.
How? Below are some of the ways a "burnout" has such an awesome affect on your results.
  1. Increasing your heart and breathing rates makes your body have to work harder to get oxygen to the muscles. Since the body is working harder, the metabolism has to increase to support the increased work load.  When the metabolism is increased, more calories are required by the body's calorie stores.
  2. HIIT causes an increased production of Human Growth Hormone (HGH), which is the hormone responsible for regeneration or that "youthful" look.
  3. After you've endured a workout and you're ready to give up, adding in a quick and intense workout will help you workout harder for longer next time.
